Emirates announces first A350 routes | Aviation

Emirates announced its first regular destinations for its new Airbus A350-900s. The airline’s first A350 was recently spotted in Toulouse and is scheduled to enter service in September.

At the time of publication, Emirates plans to have 10 Airbus A350s in its fleet by the end of March 2025, which will feature a 312-passenger configuration with three classes (32 Business, 21 Premium Economy and 259 Economy).

Adnan Kazim, Emirates Airline’s Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, said: “The A350 will be a game-changer for Emirates, enabling us to serve regional points with superior operational efficiency and flexibility in the Middle East, Asia and Europe. With the latest generation of cabin products, including our coveted Premium Economy to more cities, world-class in-flight entertainment technologies and multiple customer-friendly services, Emirates’ A350 reflects our long-term commitment to investing in the best customer experience in the sky. Flying the A350 to nine cities in such a short space of time adds more premium cabin options and more geographic variety for our customers, while securing our competitive advantage and industry leadership position.”

Ibom Air will soon add another Airbus A220-300 to its fleet, which is currently in Maastricht, Netherlands.

This aircraft, to be registered soon as 5N-CDB, will be the Nigerian airline’s second A220…
